Innovative Practice of Application-Oriented English Talent Cultivation in Universities

对于应用型本科院校来说,培养的英语应用型人才在知识上要求的是广和实,在能力上要求的是能变通、整合、应用,在素质上要求的是综合修养。在确立了应用型人才培养的办学定位后,急需修订人才培养方案,将培养应用型人才的精神落实到英语课程中,同时加强应用型英语专业师资队伍的建设。

Applied professionals in application-oriented universities are educated to have broad and solid knowledge, to have flexible, integrated and practical ability, as well as comprehensive cultivation. It is urgent to revise the talent-education program after the orientation of applied professional training is established. The application-oriented reform should be carried out in the revision of English curriculum and the building of professional teaching team.
