To foster core socialist values among students,Colleges and universities must strengthen the guiding role of the values in students＇ opinion field,which is of great significance to ideological safety in colleges and universities and which can help students identify with the core values.Current problems in this regard include inadequate use of the new media,different discourse expression forms and bad influence of western ideological trends.Colleges and universities need to integrate communication media,create new discourse expression and fully exert their theoretical advantages.
