留学青年是统战工作新的着力点。加强留学青年核心价值观教育,就是要更好地发挥留学青年在提升国家文化软实力中的作用,更好地把留学青年的梦想融入人民实现中国梦壮阔奋斗之中,更好地将留学青年培塑成为社会主义合格建设者和可靠接班人。当前我国留学青年核心价值观教育面临教育主体薄弱、教育客体被动、教育介体受限、教育环体缺位等挑战。必须要坚持问题导向,在夯实教育主体的主体责任、增进教育客体的实践自觉、拓展教育介体的载体功能、增创教育环体的浸润作用等方面着手,来优化和提升留学青年核心价值观教育的路径与实效。

The youth studying abroad is the new focus of the work of the United Front. Strengthening the core values education of the youth studying abroad, is to help them to better play the role in the promotion of national cultural soft power, to make their dream better into the grand struggle of the people to realize the Chinese dream, to cultivate them to become qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism. But at present, the core values edu-cation of youth studying abroad is faced with the challenges such as the weak educational subject, the passive edu-cational object, the limitation of the educational medium and the absence of the educational environment. We must adhere to the problem oriented, starting from the terms of strengthening the main responsibility of the main body of education, enhancing the practice consciousness of educational object, expanding the carrier function of educational medium, increasing the infiltration of the educational circle, and so on, to optimize and enhance the path and effectiveness of core values education of the youth studying abroad.
