Semantic Comparison of Basic Color Words Between Chinese and Spanish

语言是文化的忠实记录者,词汇是语言的基石,而颜色词则是词汇系统中独特的部分。在颜色词领域,不是语言决定感知,而是由感知来决定语言,视觉的共性产生了语义的相似性。本文从认知的视角出发,探讨汉语、西班牙语两种语言中基本颜色词词义发展的异同及其原因,从而发现人类的认知有着诸多共性。

Language is the faithful record of culture,vocabulary is the cornerstone of the language,and the color word is a unique part of the vocabulary system. In the field of color words,rather than language determining perception, it is perception that determines language. Visual similarity produces semantic similarity. This paper explores the similarities and differences of the semantic development of the basic color words in Chinese and Spanish from the perspective of cognition,and finds out that there are many similarities in human cognition.
