近些年,出土的汉代墓葬画像中北斗画像为数不少,有反映北斗信仰的天界画像,还有反映镇灾祈寿的厌胜、禹步踏斗巫术画像。北斗信仰反映的是先民注重生命,希望延年益寿,死后再生,生命永存的心理愿望。北斗信仰吻合先民的惧死心理,体现了先民对生命的关注和对生命局限性的反抗。

In recent years,more Big Dipper paintings spring from the Han dynasty unearthed tomb paintings.Some of them are the paintings of the heaven,while others are about fighting witchcraft. The faith in the Big Dipper reflects the wish of ancestors on prolonging life span and reincarnation after death. And the faith in the Big Dipper coincides with the ancestor＇s fear of death,concerns on life and fight against life limit.
