摘要
高级英语是英语专业学生在高年级阶段的一门专业主干课程,是培养学生读、写、译等综合技能的核心课程,而在中国知网上搜索近十年来有关高级英语教学研究的论文,发现在其教学中探讨翻译思维能力培养的文章寥寥无几。本文结合当前的社会需求及笔者从事高级英语教学的经验,提出高级英语教学可从精选课文段落翻译和课后翻译练习入手,根据地方经济社会发展需求及学生的思想生活实际与兴趣适当添加课外翻译资料,培养学生的翻译思维及实践能力,从而在完成教学任务的同时,促进学生翻译能力的提高。
Advanced English is a fundamental key course for senior English majors aiming at training students' integrated skills,especially their reading,writing and translating. However,through searching the articles on the research into advanced English instruction in the last decade,it has been found out that there have been very few ones exploring the cultivation of translation thinking ability. Considering the current social demands and combining the author's experience of Advanced English teaching,this paper holds that advanced English instruction can train students' translation thinking and practical translation ability by getting students to translate some selected passages from the texts,to do translation exercises after the texts,and to put extracurricular training materials into English according to the needs for the local economic and social development,the requirements for students' job-hunting in the future as well as their interest,thus promoting students' translation competence while accomplishing the teaching tasks of the course.
