关于“请”的日译及其语义的考察

An Account of the Japanese Translation of Qing(please)and Its Semantic Meanings

"请"有动词与敬辞之分。利用语料库对"请"的日译情况进行考察后发现,动词"请"可以被译成不同的日语行为动词,显示其具有多种不同行为义,同时具有使令义;敬辞"请"会被译成日语副词而不是动词,此外,单用的敬辞"请"和祈使句中与动词搭配使用的敬辞"请",会被译成不同的日语副词,表明二者在语义上也存在差异。

The Chinese word ＂qing （please）＂ can function either as a verb or as a term of respect. Examined in the translation corpus, the verb ＂qing （please）＂ can be translated into several forms of action verbs in Japanese, embodying different behavioral connotations including a causative sense. As for ＂qing （please）＂, a term of respect, can be translated into an adverbial rather than a verb in Japanese. In addition, ＂qing （please）＂ as an individual term of respect is semantically different from that of ＂qing＂ in a collocation in an imperative.
