留日生群体民初社会角色的新解读

摘要 近代留日生群体作为清末民初历史发展的重要参与者,其作用和角色呈现两面性,在表现进步性的同时,对民初社会混乱和政局动荡负有不可推卸的责任。对后者,学界鲜有深入系统的探讨。留日生群体自身政治参与意识强烈却处于传统权力中心丧失的历史情境;社会影响力巨大却凝聚力差,地域观念、派别意识强烈,陷入党争、政争的旋涡;军事上迷信武力,直接参与军阀混战;存在亲日卖国的严重倾向。文章试图通过对上述论点的梳理,对近代留日生群体的民初社会角色进行另一种解读。 The Chinese students who studied in Japan and returned China were important participants in the developing history of the late Qing and early Republic of China. They played positive role in terms of social development but they were also responsible for the social disruption and political turbulence. There is inadequate profound investigation to the later part in the academic circle. This group had strong motivation of taking part in political affairs but they were in the historical setting lacking of traditional power center. They had great social influence but they were lack of cohesion. Their consciousness of place and party was too strong so they were in deep swirl of party struggle and political conflicts. By summarizing the ideas above, a new interpretation of their social role is proposed in this research.
