In January of 2017, there's a condiment fraud incident in Duliu Town, Jinghai District,Tianjin City. The increasing condiment security incidents are threatening the legal interests of consumers. The safety of condiment is not only influenced by the quality of condiment, but also is influenced by the resolution capability and usage method of consumers. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the condiments' health literacy of consumers for figuring out how to improve consumers' health literacy. Taking Harbin consumers asexample, the data analysis is carried out through SPSS 20 and 564 valid questionnaires obtained through questionnaire survey. The results indicate that the condiment's health literacy of most Harbin consumers is at a moderate level. Besides, through the relevant analysis, it is found that the condiment health literacy of consumers is significantly related to age, gender, occupation, monthly food expenditure, marital status and other factors and the government and the news media have the best supervision on condiment. On such a basis, raise the suggestions on optimizing and guiding the attention to condiments' safety and the improvement of condiment health literacy of consumers.
