摘要
目的探讨M2型巨噬细胞与食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)淋巴结转移、临床分期和T分期之间的相关性。方法检索PubMed和EMBASE数据库,最终纳入6篇文献1 318例食管癌组织标本进行Meta分析。分析指标包括淋巴结转移、临床分期和T分期。结果食管癌组织中M2型巨噬细胞浸润密度与淋巴结转移(OR=3.39,95%CI=2.92~3.94,P<0.000 01)和临床分期(OR=5.01,95%CI=4.22~5.93,P<0.000 01)明显相关,与T分期无明显相关(OR=0.89,95%CI=0.66~1.20,P=0.44)。结论食管癌组织中M2型巨噬细胞浸润与淋巴结转移及与临床分期具有统计学意义的相关性,提示其细胞浸润可作为ESCC淋巴结转移及临床分期的一个预测标志物。
Objective To explore the relationship between the infiltrated M2 macrophages and lymph node metastasis,clinical stage and T classification of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).MethodsExtensive literatures regarding 'M2 macrophage' and 'ESCC' were retrieved in PubMed and EMBASE.Six literatures with 1 318 cases of ESCC clinical samples were enrolled finally.Meta-analysis was performed to analyze the association between M2 macrophages infiltrating in ESCC and lymph node metastasis,clinical staging and T classification in 6 literatures.Results The high density of infiltrated M2 macrophages had significant association with lymph node metastasis(OR=3.39,95%CI=2.92-3.94,P<0.000 01)and clinical stage(OR =5.01,95%CI=4.22-5.93,P<0.000 01).There was no significant association between infiltrated M2 macrophages and T classification(OR =0.89,95%CI =0.66 to 1.20,P =0.44).Conclusion The infiltration of M2 macrophages in ESCC had significant correlation with lymph node metastasis and clinical stage,suggesting that the density of infiltrated M2 macrophages could be used as a potential predictor for lymph node metastasis and clinical stage of ESCC.
