The audio-visual archives of colleges and universities directly record the important activities of the school with sound, pictures and images, and reproduce the precious historical appearance vividly. Compared with the single feature of documentary archives, the audio-visual archives of colleges carry the historical vicissitudes of the school more vividly. This paper probes into the problems existing in the management of audio-visual archives, some suggestions are put forward for the management of audio-visual archives in colleges and universities.
