The Evolution of the Research Objects of Geography

"地理学是什么"是地理学学科基本问题,其核心问题是地理学研究对象。地理学研究对象的演变经历四个阶段:前地理学研究对象时期、地理学研究对象确立时期、地理学研究对象深化时期和人地关系地域系统研究时期。目前人地关系地域系统研究已经占据主导地位,并且随着地理学认识论、方法论革命而向纵深发展。

＂What is geography？＂This is the fundamental question of geography, and the central problem is the object of geography research. The evolution of the object of geography has gone through four stages： the period of pre geography study, the establishment period of geography research object, the deepening period of geography research object and the research period of human land relationship regional system. At present, the research on the regional system of human land relationship has been dominant, and it has been developing with the epistemology of geography and the revolution of methodology.
