Functional reading is a kind of active reading with a certain purpose, and it plays a decisive role in promoting children’s reading literacy. The main functions of children’s reading are cognition, speech communication, aesthetics and thinking, and its teaching strategies mainly include “three decides”： deciding on function according to reading texts, deciding on the base point according to reading functions, and deciding on the path according to reading subjects.
