基础英语课堂小组活动的行动研究

摘要 《基础英语》大学英语专业的一门基础课程,因其内容繁杂,课堂气氛普遍沉闷。调查发现,课堂中学生普遍沉默。将小组活动引入到日常教学的课堂中,立足教学内容,采用学生熟悉的活动呈现方式和全新的组织形式,通过合理设计小组活动方案,能有效帮助学生打破课堂沉默。对此教学活动的行动研究表明,小组活动能广泛应用于英语专业基础英语课堂;能切实提高学生学习和交流的热情;能提高学生参与课堂的积极性;还能增加学生的课堂主体意识。 Basic-English is a basic course for English majors. It is generally regarded as dull and boring because of its enormous amount of content. The investigation found that most students were reticent in Basic-English class. Therefore,group activities were introduced into everyday teaching. Those activities were appropriately planned to practice the teaching material,and they took the familiar way of presentation but in a new organization. The reticence in class was broken effectively in this way. The research on this teaching action proved that group activities can be generally applied to Basic-English class. In-class group activities can not only help student improve their enthusiasm in learning,communicating and participating in class,but also promote their self-consciousness in class.
