“立人教育”在民族地方高校开展的路径选择刍议——以吉首大学为例 被引量:2

摘要 "立人教育"是民族地区地方高校吉首大学近年来提出的一种高等教育理念范式和实践形态。其核心在于培养人、塑造人以及成就人。抓好教学中心环节,盘活校园文化资源,建立校内外实践创新基地,提高师资队伍水平等是实现"立人教育"路径的最优化选择。对此路径选择的意义:为经济建设培养高素质人才,促进学生全面发展及个性彰显,促进文化传播和审美情趣的培养。吉首大学开展"立人教育"获得的成功经验:应动态调整人才培养类型、规格、数量等,利用内外资源提高教育质量,提高学生的科研意识和科研能力。可以推广到其他民族地方高校。开展"立人教育"也面临着挑战:所处地域环境较差,经济基础薄弱,教育设施滞后,办学理念较落后,师资力量薄弱等。 “Liren Education”,which has been proposed recently by Jishou University in the minority nationality regions,is an idea direct- ing at the promotion of higher education. Its purpose is to nurture and shape people to make better achievement. The prior method to accomplish it is to emphasize the status of key instructional process, active campus resources, build the related innovative bases in and out of institutions and develop the quality of individual teachers.The effect of enforcing the approach is that it can raise high-quality talents serving for economical de-velopment ,accelerate studentsJ comprehensive development and promote the cultural spreading and aesthetic interest. The successful experience acquired from Jishou University would be that: adjusting the type, specification and quantity of talents fostering dynamically; imposing fruitful re-sources to improve the educational quality; developing the capacity and awareness for scientific research. Those experiences could be popularized to other local institutions based on the requirement. However, “Liren Education” is confronted with severe challenges as well, such as worse geographic enviromnent, weak economic foundation, out-dated educational infrastructure, and poor philosophy of schooling and scarceness of teachers.
