The curriculum structure and the importance of real variable function are expounded. Combining with the teaching practice and present situation of real variable function, puts forward some specific and effective teaching methods such as focusing on the integration of mathematical culture,using contrast and counterexample methods,promoting research teaching and making micro video and so on.The teaching practice shows that it can stimulate student interest in learning and improve the teaching effect by improving of these teaching methods.
