摘要
"慕课"于2008年在加拿大诞生,全面了解加拿大"慕课"开展的情况,从而找出某些规律性的东西,可为我国"慕课"发展提供有益借鉴。调研加拿大阿尔伯塔大学"慕课",发现不少值得关注的现象:校方积极推进"慕课"发展,教师对"慕课"也有较高认知,但学生群体却对"慕课"的知晓度不足25%。"慕课"不可能替代传统大学教学模式,应该尽量避免"慕课"之不足,发挥其优势。阿尔伯塔大学"慕课"的盈利模式也借鉴价值。
"MOOC"was born in Canada in 2008. Research on the development of current"MOOC"in Canada gives us a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of "MOOC"and some useful lessons,which provides some useful reference for its development in China. University of Alberta was used as a representative example. Through communicating with related authorities and "MOOC"teachers and questionnaires with enrolled students during that period,a lot of interesting phenomena were found. The university was very active in promoting the "MOOC",so there was a high awareness of "MOOC"among teachers. Contrary to our expectation,the awareness of "MOOC"among students was very low,and less than a quarter of students had heard of "MOOC". "MOOC"has appeared and developed,but it will not replace traditional university teaching. We should try to avoid the inadequacy of "MOOC",and learn its strengths. The profit model of "MOOC"at University of Albert also has its reference value.
