近代厦门地区学校音乐教育概况

摘要 1840—1949年是厦门地区学校音乐教育的初创时期,它的发展和政治、经济、地理、人文环境紧密相连,在内容与模式上中西并进,与本土方言、文化相结合,音乐课程的设置及实践在基督教会学校、公立中小学、华侨创办各级学校中体现不同特点。基督教学校开启西方音乐教育的大门,国人所创办新式学堂则跟随中国近代音乐教育发展的步伐,开设音乐课,组建各种音乐社团加强美育。战时学校音乐教育走向社会,传播抗战精神。近代厦门学校音乐教育以普及性基础教育为主,缺乏专业音乐研究。 The start-up period of music education at the schools in Xiamen was 1840-1949. Its development was closely related to the politics,economy,geography and cultural environment. It went ahead with Chinese and western styles in content and mode,and with the combination of native dialect and culture. Its music course settings and practice reflected different characteristics in Christian schools,public primary and secondary schools and at all levels of schools founded by overseas Chinese. The Christian schools opened the door to western music education. With the development of Chinese modern music education,Chinese-founded new schools set up music courses,organized a variety of music societies to enhance aesthetic construction and established normal music colleges to train primary education teachers. Affected by the wartime situation,school music education entered the society in the form of singing,and spread the spirit of the War of Resistance against Japan. During this period,the music education in Xiamen was mainly carried out in the form of universal basic education,lacking professional music research.
