Objective To analyze the clinical effect of small incision and traditional open surgery on thyroid neoplasms. Methods Ninety patients with thyroid neoplasms admitted in our hospital from January 2015 to Octorber 2016 were enrolled, and divided into observation group and control group, with 45 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with endoscopic assisted neck incision, and the control group underwent traditional open surgery. The clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results In the observation group, the operation time was longer than that in the control group(P〈0.05), the drainage time and hospitalization time were shorter than those in the control group(P〈0.05).The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was less than that of the control group(P〈0.05). The incision length in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group(P〈0.05). The incidence rate of postoperative complication in the observation group was 4.4%, which was lower than 17.8% in the control group(P〈0.05). Conclusion Endoscopic assisted small neck incision is effective and safe in the treatment of thyroid neoplasms.
