At the 1 9th National Congress of the Communist Party of China （CPC）, held on October 18-24, Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was included into the Party Constitution and was established as a component of the Party＇s guide for action. On November 7, Xinhua News Agency published an article on its website focusing on Xi＇s thought on global governance. An edited excerpt of the article follows：
