The Internal Relationship between Museums and Communities in America and Its Enlightenment to the Museum Work in China

美国博物馆在与当地社区合作方面做了许多有益尝试,并取得了一些宝贵经验。本文通过对158家美国博物馆的综合调研和分析,认知美国博物馆如何与当地社区保持可持续性的长效健康的合作关系,并在众多博物馆的实践过程中揭示了存在的主要矛盾和亟待解决的问题。文章从全球化的视野,提出了改进措施,揭示了美国博物馆在社区工作方面的经验对改进和完善中国博物馆建设的启示。

American museums have done many useful experi-ments in cooperation with local communities and have gainedsome valuable experience. Through the comprehensive investiga-tion and analysis of 158 American museums, this article recog-nizes how American museums maintain long-term and healthycooperative relationships with local communities and reveals themajor contradictions and urgent problems to be solved. From theperspective of globalization, the article puts forward improvementmeasures and reveals the enlightenment of the experience ofAmerican museums in community work on improving and per-fecting the construction of Chinese museums.
