蔡元培的美学思想和艺术思想很大一部分来自于他的五次旅欧经历,旅欧期间,他修习美学课程、撰写美学文章并且接受西方艺术教育,这对他美育思想的形成、将古典美学引入中国和重视美学实践等多方面都产生了深远的影响和意义。

A large part of Cai Yuanpei's aesthetic and artistic thoughts came from his five tours to Europe.In these tours,he took aesthetic courses,wrote papers in the discipline,and received western artistic education,which influenced him greatly when he was developing his own aesthetic thoughts,and led him to introduce western classical aesthetics to China and to give more emphasis on aesthetic practice.
