On Translation Criticism of Foreign Popular Literature in the 21^(st) Century

文章从新世纪外国通俗文学汉译批评的现状、特点与不足出发,在文学翻译批评的整体框架内,尝试对通俗文学翻译批评的理论建构进行一番探讨,提出通俗文学翻译批评建构应坚持的六个维度,即建设性、科学性、审美性、多元性、伦理性,以及读者接受导向。

The rise of foreign popular literature in the 21^(st) century has aroused upsurge of popular literature translation in China.However,the translation criticism of popular literature,which should have played the role of commenting on,supervising and guiding the translation practice,has been unsatisfactory.This paper,based on the current status,characteristics and shortcomings of the translation criticism of foreign popular literature in the 21^(st) century,tries to further discuss the theoretical construction of the translation criticism of popular literature in the framework of literary translation criticism as a whole,and puts forward the idea that translation criticism of popular literature should adhere to six dimensions,namely,constructive,scientific,aesthetic,pluralistic,ethical,and reader-oriented.
