CBI教学理念在大学英语教学中的实证探究 被引量:8

摘要 随着全球经济一体化,社会各行各业对具备良好英语基础的复合型人才的需求越来越大。早在2007年,国家教育部就颁布了《大学英语课程教学要求》,明确指出大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的综合应用英语的能力,以期毕业生能适应现代社会对人才的需求。目前的大学英语教学难以达到这一目标,因此教育工作者们不断地致力于探索符合这一培养要求的全新的英语教学模式。经过多年的研究和尝试,早在上世纪90年代就已引入中国的CBI教学理念,对我国当前的大学英语教学改革实践具有一定的指导意义。CBI教学理念下,授课教师将传统的语言教授过程转化为通过学习相关专业知识来提升语言运用能力的过程。学生则是通过专业内容相关的英语学习获取新的专业信息并在此过程中潜移默化地提升听说读写等语言知识技能,英语教学成为学生了解专业知识的手段。本文围绕CBI理念在大学英语教学中的实际应用展开研究,在实践中探索这一教学模式的可行性,以期提高应用型本科院校大学英语教学的质量,培养更多满足社会需求的复合型人才。 With the development of economic globalization, the demand for applied talents with certain English ability is increasing. College English Curriculum Requirements drawn up by the Ministry of Education of China in 2007 has made it clear that the objective of college English teaching is to help develop students' overall ability to use English in practice. Students are required to master not only the language itself but also some practical English skills for specific purposes to meet the modem social needs. In the 1990’ s, CBI was brought into China and hence influenced English teaching a lot through the teaching reform by some universities, especially in some application-oriented colleges. In this paper, the author aims to apply the model of CBI into College English teaching in order to help improve the teaching quality and the students' English proficiency. At the same time, the author intends to demonstrate that CBI can satisfy the objective of application-oriented colleges in the cultivation of applied and inter-disciplinary talents.
