"Fragmented" and "high-speed" electronic reading is popular today. However, reading printed version can activate our body's perception, which renders an irreplaceable way of reading. Based on "body perception" theory, the analysis framework of this article is organized around the comparison between digital reading and paper reading in terms of the perception of body. Through returning to the dimension of our body, this article explores how paper reading reinvigorates itself in the new media age. By examining the interaction between people and media in the context of the transformation of media format, this article aims to illuminate the culture connotation of paper reading in the digital age. The brick and mortar bookstore also shifts from the traditional retailing store to a multi-function cultural complex with aesthetic value and communication function. The change of spatial attributed reconstruct the relationship between body and object, and the participation of "body" has created special experience, which forms a heterogeneous space with changing structure and meaning distribution.
