Ever since it came into being in the1960s, China English has begun speeding u p its development gradually and continuously.Its developing speed,study areas and impacts,especially in this century,have been increasing.Based on the literatures and data, the existence and attributes of China English are proven in the paper.It makes a review of the progress in its formation and development, briefs its m a r k e d and promotional functions,introduces its orientations and areas in studies,and forecasts its developing views and roles ah e a d.
