摘要
首先从5G高功率终端的产业需求出发,基于4G高功率终端的研发及产业推动经验,从提升上行业务覆盖能力、改善小区边缘用户业务体验、节约网络部署成本、优化终端功耗性能及提高VoLTE语音质量等五个方面出发,深入分析了5G NR 6 GHz以下采用高功率终端的必要性。然后剖析了5G NR 6 GHz以下高功率终端射频解决方案的设计挑战及一些可能的实现方案,从理论到实践,较为完整地论证了5G NR 6 GHz以下采用高功率终端的可行性,为5G NR 6GHz以下高功率终端的研发和产业发展提供了技术储备。
Firstly, based on 5G high power terminal industry demand, 4G high power terminal development and industry promotion experience, the necessity of adopting high power terminal for 5G NR below 6 GHz was analyzed in depth from five aspects of uplink service coverage capability enhancement, service experience improvement for cell edge users, network deployment cost saving, terminal power consumption optimization and VoLTE quality enhancement. Then, in the light of the research/bundation of 4G high power terminals, the design challenge and possible implementation of high power terminal RF solution for 5G NR below 6 GHz were elaborated. The feasibility of high power terminal for 5G NR below 6GHz was demonstrated completely. This provides the technical reserve to the research and industrial development of high power terminal for 5G NR below 6 GHz.
