满族说部的收集和整理是在满族民族特征日渐淡化的时代中开始的,说部作品本身就体现着强调民族特征和不断受汉文化影响的事实之间的矛盾。单纯从文学和历史价值研究满族说部是不够的。满族说部的重要意义和价值在于构建满族的共同文化回忆,保留民族特征,建立满族人民的民族认同感。

The collection and edition of Manchu Uleben begun in the era when its national characteristic is fading. The works of Uleben show the contradiction between the emphasis on the national characteristic of the Manchu and the influence of Han Chinese cultures on the Manchu.Researches simply conducted on the literature and historical value of Manchu Uleben are not enough. The significance and value lies in the construction of Manchu's common culture memory and the Manchu's sense of identity,and the conservation of its national characteristics.
