YAN Xi-shan had sent some people to write ＂ Shanxi Police Report＂ which comprehensively summarized the policing in Shanxi at that time. The report compiled the regulations,official documents,graphs and records of Shanxi Police Division and Provincial Capital Police Department in the early of the Republic of China which reported police organs,police troops,police systems and police affairs in detail with a lot of real photos and graphs. The report also showed the process of Shanxi policing order from traditional social governance to modern and deep transformation. The report is of not only reserve value and learning value.
