近代中国民主进程中对民本传统的再诠释——以黄宗羲思想的近代命运为例

Over Interpretation of the Traditional Chinese Thought in Modern China——The Effect of Huang Zongxi's Thought in the Democratic Process of Modern China

中国传统民本思想对近代民主进程影响颇大,近代思想家多是通过它来理解西方民主理念。近代的思想家们之所以无法抛开民本思想,在很大程度上是由于面对西方列强时的民族焦虑,再加上他们尚且无法准确把握西方的民主理念,还必须在广大民众中宣传民主的需要。民本思想虽然在某种意义上成为中国政治变革的中介,但在理论上也存在着一定的局限性,对中国近代的民主进程产生了消极影响。

The thought that people are the foundation of country affect profound and lasting in the democratic process in modern China,many modern thinkers understood the concept of Western democracy through this thought.The reason why thinkers could not throw off the thought,to a large extent was because the national anxiety when faced the Western powers,along with they could not yet accurately grasp the concept of Western democracy,and must publicize democracy in the majority of people.The thought that people are the foundation of country represented by Huang Zongxi had been intermediary in recent political changes in modern China,while the limitations of the theory had a negative impact on modern democracy process.
