当代文学史料学及其应用的几个问题

Historiography in Contemporary Literature and the Problems with Its Use

当代文学研究对史料的依赖度,取决于研究的对象和所运用的方法。史料不可能还原绝对意义上的历史现场,但利用可靠的史料能澄清当代文学研究中的一些问题。所谓可靠的史料,是相对于不那么可靠的而言。洪子诚的《材料和注释:1957年中国作协党组扩大会议》一文,是史料运用的一次成功实践,也彰显了史料研究所能达到的限度,但这同时表明史料的应用,可以从追问历史的原初状态转向追问历史现象所构成的意义。

The degree to which Contemporary Literature is dependent on historical sources is determined by both the research ob- ject and the research approach. Sources cannot be absolutely accurate in their presentation of historical events; yet, reliable material is a tool to clarify some questions in the literary studies. Comparatively speaking, reliable material is the opposite of questionable one. A successful practice of historical resources is displayed by Hang Zicheng in one of his papers--Material and Annotations： The 1957 China Writers Association Meeting for the Expansion of the Party＇-which demonstrated the extent to which the sources can be used, and indicated that historical material can be applied to study the significance of historical phenomena rather than just determine what is the true history.
