当前社会歧视性称谓语考察及其规避策略

歧视性称谓语在本质上是一种语言歧视和语言暴力,是社会政治、经济、文化等各种差异、矛盾和对立的反映。当前社会,一些之前存在的和新出现的歧视性称谓语不断融入到我们新时期的语言生活中,这主要包括妇孺老弱歧视性称谓语、生理缺陷歧视性称谓语、职业身份歧视性称谓语、不端行为品格歧视性称谓语、禽兽什物等低贱物歧视性称谓语。倡导民主平等意识,根除社会歧视,加强相关法律制度建设,深入开展称谓语方面的研究,充分发挥新闻媒体和教育行业的榜样引领作用是有效规避歧视性称谓语,促进语言规范和谐的最重要的途径和策略。

Discriminatory appellation is a kind of language discrimination and language violence in essence, and it is a reflection of social,political,economic,cultural differences,contradictions and oppositions. In the current society in China,some previously-existing and newly-emerging discriminatory terms, mainly including discriminating against women, children, the old and the weak,physical disability,occupation and identity,misconduct and improper character,beast things,etc.,continuously integrate into our language life. It is an effective way and the most important strategy to avoid discriminatory appellation thus promote language standardization by advocating democracy and equality, eliminating social discrimination as well as strengthening the construction of legal system. What＇s more, correlation studies should be carried out and the leading role of the news media and education industry should be given full play.
