随着社会的发展和新课改的深入,近年来,我国在教育方面投入的力度不断加大,高校英语教育受到的影响因素也越来越多,尤其是形成性评价,对于我国现代化英语教学的影响意义深远。这一评价能够在很大程度上对"考试定终身"以及"考分定优劣"的评价方式有所改变,并减少其所带来的负面影响。可以消除学生自身的焦虑情绪和消极心理,帮助学生树立自信心,促进学生自我学习能力的提高。

With the social development and the deepening of new curriculum reform, nowadays, China has invested more and more in education. Thus, there are more and more factors that affect English language teaching in colleges and universities. Among them, formative assessment produces profound influence to modern English teaching in China. In this paper, it studies and analyzes formative assessment and its enlightenment on the Teaching of English Majors in Colleges and Universities.
