摘要
美国"国家安全语言计划"自2006年实施以来,美国各部门制定了一系列操作性很强的子项目以推动该计划顺利进行。由美国国家情报局支持的"星谈"项目就是其中之一。"星谈"项目的使命是给K-16的学生和教师提供有创造性的、参与性的关键语言暑期体验,并最终提高学习、使用及教授"关键语言"的美国人数量。项目的操作流程清晰,其中的文件内容、原则与特征明显。此外,"星谈-TELL联盟"还为教师培训和发展量身定制了达标模块。综观"星谈"项目发展的十年,可以看出汉语项目一直占据了大部分的数量。但是在美国学习汉语的学生的绝对数量还是偏低,汉语在美国的传播仍然有很大提升空间。
From the beginning of National Security Language Initiative,different departments of U.S.have formulated a series of operable sub-programs to make the initiative go with a swing."Star Talk"program is one of them.The mission of Star Talk is to provide creative and involved summer language experience for K-16 teachers and students and increases the number of people who wants to learn,use and teach critical languages.The operation process of the project is clear and the file content,principles,features is obvious."Star Talk-TELL Alliance"also customizes standard modules for the training and development for teachers.Looking back the ten years development of Star Talk,it's easy to say that the Chinese programs occupy the main part.However,the students number who wants to learn Chinese is still small and there's a big space for the spread of Chinese in U.S.
