研发强度与企业创新绩效——政府资源与知识产权保护的调节作用

R&D Intensity and Innovation Performance——The Moderating Effects of Government Resources and Intellectual Property Rights Protection

以2008-2011年中国371家创新型制造业企业为样本,实证检验研发强度与企业创新绩效的关系,在此基础上考察政府资源和知识产权保护对二者关系的调节作用。结果表明:研发强度与企业创新绩效之间呈倒"U"型关系;政府资源削弱企业研发对创新绩效的作用;地区知识产权保护水平增强企业研发对创新绩效的影响。进一步研究发现,政府资源和知识产权保护在研发强度与企业创新绩效关系中的调节作用还会因企业所有权和技术水平的差异而有所不同。

Using data of 371 Chinese innovation-oriented firms from 2008 to 2011,this paper empirically investigates the relationship between R&D intensity and innovation performance.On this base,it further probes the moderating effects of government resources and sub-national intellectual property rights protection.The results show that(1) there is an inverse U-shaped curve between R&D intensity and innovation performance.(2) government resources weaken the promoting effects of R&D intensity on the innovation performance of firms.(3) sub-national intellectual property rights protection can intensify the effects of R&D on innovation performance.Furthermore,the empirical results show that the ownership and technical level of enterprises heterogeneity can affect the moderating effects of government resources and sub-national intellectual property rights protection.
