“Medicine Weekly” of Ta Kongpao and Popularization of the Medical Knowledge

20世纪二三十年代,《大公报》与丙寅医学社合作创办《医学周刊》,积极开展医学知识普及,并努力探讨普及医学知识的有力途径。《大公报》提出,普及医学知识,亟须中国医学的科学化,还须新闻界的科学化,尤须普及民众的科学化。这些观点,在积贫积弱的当时,具有重要的前瞻性。在当今,仍具有一定的借鉴意义与启示意义。

The ＂Medicine Weekly＂ was co - edited and issued by Ta Kongpao and Bing - yin Medical Society in modem China in 1920s and 1930s. The scholars of the society tried their best to popularize the medical knowledge and tried to study the powerful way of popularization through the ＂Medicine Weekly＂ They claimed that popularizing of the medical knowledge should both promote the traditional Chinese medi- cine to be scientific and the press to by scientific, especially make the popular people to be scientific.
