Carlo Scarpa's architectural works were constructed basing on the characteristic and cultural connotation of joints. In many of Scarpa's architectures, the repeat of some special joints are very impressive. This paper take the exhibition of the fresco Trionfo della Morte in Palazzo Abatellis, the statue of Cangrande I in Castelvecchio Museum of Verona and the repeating double circle motif in the Brion Family Cemetery as cases, basing on the cultural connotation of these joints and the architectural space in which they were located, studied the meaning and effect of the repeat of those joints. This paper pointed that, the repeat of the joints is importantly meaningful for the integration of fragmentary architectural spaces and architectural circulations, and theme-based construction of the architectural entirety.
