蛋重和蛋形指数对巴布亚企鹅(Pygoscelis papua)孵化效果影响的初步研究

Effect of Egg Weight and Shape Index on Hatching Rate of Gentoo Penguin Pygoscelis papua

本试验通过测量80枚巴布亚企鹅种蛋的蛋重、蛋纵径、蛋横径,将蛋重分为5组,蛋形指数分为4组,在相同条件下孵化。研究了蛋重、蛋形指数对巴布亚企鹅种蛋受精率及孵化率的影响。结果表明:蛋重对受精率的影响差异显著(P<0.05),对孵化率影响除(125~136)g组和(137~148)g组无显著差异外(P>0.05),其余各组差异显著;不同蛋形指数组间受精率和孵化率差异显著。

We measured the weight,length and width of 80 eggs of Pygoscelis papua, divided them into 5 groups by weight,and 4 groups by egg shape index,then hatched them under identical conditions. Our objective was to study the influence of egg weight and egg shape index on the fertility rate and hatchability of eggs. The results showed that egg weight significantly affected fertility rate（ P〈0. 05）. Egg weight had significant effect on hatchability,except in two groups（ group125-136 g,and group 137-148 g）. Fertility rate and hatchability differed significantly between all egg-shape-index groups.
