基于《汉英英汉武术词典》术语英译的解析

An Analysis on Wushu Terminology Translation Based on Chinese-English and English-Chinese Wushu Dictionary

中华武术是中华传统文化的重要表现形式之一。本文基于我国权威的武术术语翻译工具书——《汉英英汉武术词典》,对武术术语的英译进行解释和剖析,旨在为武术界学者和相关翻译工作者提供参考,以便提高武术对外传播的英译质量,为中华武术文化走出去搭建坚实的翻译桥梁。

Chinese martial arts is one of the important manifestation pattern of Chinese traditional culture. Based on Chinese-English and English-Chinese Wushu Dictionary, one of the national authorized translation dic- tionary of martial arts terminology, this paper interprets and analyzes the English translation of martial arts. The aim is to offer references to scholars and translators in the fields of martial arts and to promote the quality of Eng- lish translation in Chinese martial arts＇ dissemination. The ultimate goal is to build up a solid bridge for the Go- ing Abroad of Chinese martial arts culture in aspect of translation.
