Rescuing from the Mars and Used Universe

以"火星救援"与"二手宇宙"两个虚拟案例入手,对建筑学里的性能认识进行了辨析,分析了建筑学性能研究中的表现性。通过比较性能与效能的不同意义,分析有效性和系统失效,反思建筑学体系完整化的思想方式,提出:对性能的建筑学认知应该扩展至建筑使用改变的状态与未来建筑系统改变的语境里。

Stating from two science-fictional cases, Rescuing from the Mars and Used Universe, this paper aims at distinguishing the significance of performance in architecture and clarifying the representational quality of its study. Through identifying the difference between performance and effect, analyzing efficiency and system failure, it challenges the belief in a complete architectural system and suggests enlarging the capacity of performance to include architectural usage and modification and a changing context of architectural system in the future.
