试析华莱坞科幻电影弱势之原因

A Brief Analysis of the Reasons for the Weakness of Huallywood Science Fiction Movies

中国科幻电影作为华莱坞电影产业的短板,在华莱坞电影总票房中的占比微乎其微,也在好莱坞科幻大片的连番攻势下难见其踪。科幻电影作为好莱坞在全球范围内打造自身金字招牌和占据中国电影市场的首要电影类型,其票房号召力和题材影响力不言而喻。华莱坞科幻电影若不奋起直追,长此以往科幻电影这一领域或将不再可能有华语片的一席之地,而这种局面也会对华莱坞电影产业的整体发展带来负面影响。文章从各有侧重的中西方科学精神、科幻文学的发展情况、硬性存在的贸易政策、竞争激烈的市场和团队水平的差异这五个方面的分析出发,试图找出华莱坞科幻电影现存之缺憾。

In recent years,Huallywood science fiction movies have rarely been found at the top of the Chinese box office rankings,and their share of the total box office has been very small.In contrast,Hollywood sci-fi movies always occupy a top position in the Chinese box office.This highlights how science fiction movies have become an established brand for Hollywood movies globally.We can say that Hollywood can secureits market shares in China thanks to itshigh-standard science fiction movies.Therefore,if Huallywood sci-fi does not try to catch up,science fiction movies will eventually lose their place in Huallywood,with a negative impact on the overall development of the Chinese film industry.To ensure the healthy development of Huallywood movies,in this paper we try to analyze the existing shortcomings of Huallywood science fiction movies based on five different aspects:the scientific spirit in China and in the West,the development of science fiction literature,the rigid existence of trading policies,ahighly competitive market,and the abilities of the film production teams.
