从英国IGCSE考试看英国教育理念

IGCSE and British Educational Ideas

中等教育国际通用证书(IGCSE)考试是英国剑桥国际考试委员会组织的国际性考试,主要针对14~16岁的青少年。本文以IGCSE数学0580考试为切入点,从知识点、试卷结构与难度、评分标准与原则3个方面说明IGCSE数学0580考试,从中分析英国的教育理念,以期对我国的初中教育有所启发。

International General Certificate of Secondary Education （IGCSE） established by Cambridge International Examinations （CIE） is one of the most popular international certification for the secondary education worldwidely, and it aims 14-16 years old teenagers. This paper is going to introduce and analyse IGCSE Mathematics 0580 test by illustrating its curriculum, assessment objective and evaluation. Meanwhile, the secondary educational ideas in the UK will be demonstrated based on the previous results. The purpose for this paper is to serve as a reference for the ideas of secondary education in China.
