公立初中教师工资与教学时间的关系——基于OECD和我国数据的实证分析

The Relationship between Teachers' Salaries and Teaching Time in Public Junior Middle School: Based on OECD and the Empirical Analysis of Data in China

教师工资和教学时间是衡量公立初中教师工作生态环境的两个主要量度,两者不仅是对教师工作的物质肯定、劳动强度的反映,也是吸引并稳定教师队伍的主要途径。本文以Education at a Glance:OECD Indicators(2007-2015年)相关数据为基础,从横向和纵向两个角度明晰OECD加盟国公立初中教师工资和教学时间的变化情况,并对其相关关系进行分析。研究发现,以色列、希腊、卢森堡、葡萄牙和澳大利亚等国的教师工资与教学时间呈正相关,而日本、匈牙利、丹麦、英格兰、美国和冰岛等国,教师工资与教学时间呈负相关。虽然我国公立初中教师工资与教学时间的相关性并不明显,但两方面的数值都低于OECD国家平均水平,这不利于我国初中教师队伍的稳定,影响师资队伍建设整体水平。

Teachers＇ salaries and teaching time are two main measures to evaluate teachers＇ work environment in public junior middle schools,they are not only the reflection of material affirmation and labour intensity for teachers＇ work,but also the main way to attract and stabilize teachers. The article clarifies the changes and analyzes the correlation between teachers ＇ salaries and teaching time of public junior middle schools in OECD countries from horizontal and vertical aspects based on the related data in Education at a Glance： OECD Indicators（2005-2013）. The analysis shows that teachers＇ salaries are positively correlated with teaching time in Israel,Greece,Luxembourg,Portugal and Australia while negatively correlated in Japan,Hungary,Denmark,England,the United States and Iceland. Although the correlation between teachers＇ salaries and teaching time in China＇s public junior middle schools is not obvious,the value in both aspects is below the average level in OECD countries,which is not conducive to the stability and affects the overall level of teaching staff in the junior middle school of China.
