Attractiveness of Vocational Education from the Cultural Capital

职业教育吸引力问题是影响职业教育健康发展的关键问题。以"文化资本论"为理论依据,分析得出文化资本匮乏、转化困难以及文化资本再生产乏力是导致我国职业教育低吸引力的主要原因。为增强我国职业教育吸引力,应对职业学校学生进行文化补偿教育,确保职业学校实习教学设备达标,严把职业教育质量与资格证书质量,建立职业准入制度,充分发挥职业教育的社会服务职能。

Attractiveness of vocational education is of great significance to its long-term healthy development.Based on the theory of Cultural Capital,the initial lack of cultural capital as well as the difficulties in Cultural capital transformation and reproduction lead to the low attractiveness of vocational education in China. To enhance that,cultural compensation should be given to vocational school students. Government and related parties should make sure that every vocational school has sufficient internship teaching equipment; vigorously enforce the quality of vocational education and qualification Certificates; establish the professional entrance system; give full play to the social service function of vocational education.
