试论媒介偏见的经济效益转化——以半岛电视台为例

摘要 媒介偏见有可能影响媒介公信力,却也可以借此激发冲突性的新闻事件,以期获得更多的关注度和收视率。受众在对媒介的挑选与使用中找到了能够满足自己需求的媒介,如果该媒介所持有的观点与自己一致,即使该媒介对一些群体怀有偏见,也不妨碍受众对媒介的信任。机制性偏见的成型为固定受众群的建立与扩大提供了帮助。 Media bias may influence media credibility, but with the influence it can stimulate conflicting news events in order to gain more attention and ratings. In selecting and using the media, the audiences can find some to satisfy their own needs. If the audiences find that the media' s points of view are in consistence with theirs, they will not be prevented from giving credence to the media, even if they show bias to some social groups. The formation of this kind of structural bias provides help for the establishment and expansion of the fixed audience groups and this can achieve an economic benefit transformation.
