摘要
全英文课程授课(EMI),在全国和全球范围内的推广已经成为一种文化和科技交流的趋势,这药学类高校中,中外合作交流的趋势越来越多,专业领域中的交流和合作更加频繁。合作办学也成为新的培养模式,这就大大提到了对教师的英文能力和教学方式的要求,需要以更宽泛的视野来完成英文的授课,同时进一步完善课程的评价体系。本文研究了近3年中国药科大学药学专业中外合作办学的EMI教学现状,初步讨论了EMI教学在专业类型的学校中的教学效果,教学现状以及面临的挑战。
EMI (English Medium Instruction) courses are nowadays becoming the worldwide emerging tendency in cultural and technological communication. In pharmaceutical universities, the communication and cooperation in joint educational programs and specialized academic fields are more frequent and convenient. The high standard of EMI teachers required better English skills, advanced teaching methods and broader experience to perform their EMI courses. Moreover, to optimize the assessment of EMI courses is still challengeable. The work is based on the preliminary study of EMI course of joint educational program in China pharmaceutical university in recent 3 years, which discuss the situation and performance of EMI courses in specialized academic area including the coming challenge.
