系统功能语言学视阈下《金匮要略》衔接机制对比研究

Comparative Study on Application of Cohesion Mechanisms in Synopsis of Golden Chamber from Perspective of System-functional Linguistics

衔接是保证语篇行文流畅、意义表述完整及交际顺利进行的重要手段。但由于英语重形合、汉语重意合,加之古汉语自身文辞凝练、结构复杂等特征,势必反映在衔接机制的运用上。故立足系统功能语言学视角,通过对中医典籍《金匮要略》汉英译本进行定量定性对比分析,着重论述语法、词汇两大类衔接机制在《金匮要略》汉英译本中的体现、差异及缘由,并结合实例探讨英译过程中如何对各衔接手段进行有效识别和重构,以促进中医典籍英译实现最大化传真。

Cohesion plays an important role in promoting discourse fluency, meaning expressions and smooth communication. English focuses on hypotaxis while Chinese on parataxis, and ancient Chinese is characterized with concise expressions and complicated structures, which exerts great influences on cohesion application. Hence, based on system- functional linguistics, this paper is intended to discuss the application of cohesion mechanisms in translating Synopsis of Golden Chamber through qualitative and quantitative comparison between Chinese version and English version, and examples are cited to demonstrate how to translate TCM classics under the guidance of cohesion mechanisms so as to present a better theory-oriented translation of Synopsis of Golden Chamber.
