Ideological and political education helps college students to establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values while also undertaking the task of promoting college students to develop good habits and ensure their overall development. In order to give full play to the role of ideological and political education, taking the Internet age as the research background, this paper digs deeply into the rich connota- tion of Chinese excellent traditional culture, comprehensively analyzes the difficulties and challenges that Chinese excellent traditional culture integrates with the ideological and political education of college students, in order to provide some reference for the relevant research.
