教育需要纯粹的精神气质

Education's Requiring Spirituality

当今社会,教育由于受到功利化的侵蚀,已经变得平庸化、弱智化并走向效率崇拜。但教育是关乎真理和幸福的精神性事业,因此必须改变当前教育的功利化状况,这就需要教育充满纯粹的精神气质,也即将教育视为自成目的性的存在,以塑造理想人性、促进学生幸福成长为本意;在方式方法上力求正当性、向善性;同时,教师应当守护教育者的尊严与师者的美好形象。

Today＇s social education is corrupted by utilitarianism, and becomes mediocre, mentally retarded and blind for efficiency-worship. Education is a spiritual cause related to truth and happiness. It is necessary to change the status of utilitarian education. To this end, education requires pure mental qualities, that is, education is regarded as a self-contained existence, in order to shape ideal humanity and promote students＂ happiness and growth. In ways it seeks legitimacy and goodness and teachers should protect the dignity and good image of educators and teachers.
