北京市方庄社区糖尿病患者牙周病患病状况与认知度调查

Investigation on the prevalence and awareness of periodontal disease in diabetic patients from Fangzhuang Community in Beijing

目的调查北京市丰台区方庄社区糖尿病患者的牙周病患病状况及其对牙周病的认知程度,为以后口腔科医生和全科医生共同管理糖尿病患者提供理论依据,丰富糖尿病患者健康管理内容及家庭医生式服务内涵,提高管理效率。方法 2015年2月~2016年2月选择在方庄社区卫生服务中心签约的1005例糖尿病患者进行调研。研究分为两部分,第一部分通过问卷调查了解糖尿病人群口腔卫生习惯、血糖控制情况、对牙周病认知情况等;第二部分通过口腔检查了解方庄社区糖尿病人群的牙周健康状况。结果调查表明,方庄社区糖尿病患者牙周病患病率较高,牙周浅袋及牙周深袋检出率分别为32.3%、53.6%。糖尿病患者对牙周病的认知度低,32.7%参与调查者知道糖尿病患者患牙周病概率增加,而仅有13.6%受试者知道牙周病控制不佳会导致血糖控制不稳定。结论方庄社区糖尿病患者牙周病患病率高、认知度低,口腔科医生及全科医生应加强口腔卫生宣教,提高糖尿病患者对牙周炎的认知度。

Objective To investigate the prevalence of periodontal disease and the awareness of periodontal disease in diabetic patients from Fangzhuang Community of Fengtai District in Beijing, in order to provide theoretical basis for the management of diabetes patients in future for dentists and general practitioners jointly, and also enrich the health man- agement of diabetic patients and the connotation of family doctor service, improve the efficiency of management. Methods 1005 diabetic patients signed with Fangzhuang Community Health Service Center were selected from February 2015 to February 2016. The study was divieded into two parts： ①questionnaire was designed to investigate the oral health habits, blood sugar level and cognition of periodontal disease; ②the oral examination was operated and the data were collected to understand the periodontal health status of the diabetic population in Fangzhuang Community. Results The prevalence of periodontal disease was high in Fangzhuang Community that was shown by the detection rate of shallow periodontal pocket and deep periodontal pockets was 32.3% and 53.6% respectively. Diabetic patients had low awareness of periodontal disease, only 32.7% participants knew that diabetic patients could lead to the higher risk of periodontal disease, and only 13.6% subjects knew that periodontal disease poorly controlled would lead to impaired glycemie control. Conclusion Diabetic patients in Fangzhuang Community have high prevalence of periodontal disease and low awareness. Dentists and general practitioners should strengthen the oral health education to improve the aware- ness of periodontitis in diabetic patients.
